...continued... :) ...
...continued... :) Drobo or another vendor I was recently made aware of - a company called "Synology" may be the answer. :) I use a wireless "N" network at home. Not sure if this is a "Gigabit" network so this is the first thing I need to clarify. :) I saw a little Drobo video suggesting iSCSI over Ethernet is faster than Firewire 800. My desktop has one Ethernet connection, one Firewire 800 connection and four USB? 2.0 connections. Is the Ethernet connection a possible iSCSI input?

Hello ...
Hello motherboardsorg, :) My 2009 Desktop iMac's 1TB hard disk is nearly? full and the computer seems to be running real slow these days with lots of beach balls popping up and - especially in Aperture. I've been told the applications on the desktop might run faster if I put the iTunes and Aperture libraries and pretty much any other "data" on a separate drive. I am seeking an expandable external storage solution that is accessible over a fast connection.
